Quick, engaging, and fun read!

OMG - this book is HILARIOUS!

It is perverse and often offensive, but oddly compelling and fascinating. I keep trying to put it down - but can't. I feel somewhat dirty for enjoying it. Lol!

I love Mr. Tanek's writing style - crisp, concise and creative! His vignettes always make me want to read more!

OMG, this book is FUNNY!

First paperback I've held in my hands in over a year! Enjoying it immensely (both the book and the reading of it)...there is something special about turning a page!

OMG, I can't put it down! Sigh, I wish I could transport myself into the Carpathian world!

I wonder if Benjamin will figure out how abusive Matthew might be. Will he beat the ever loving crap out of Matthew? I wish! I love how engaged I am in this story, and that it has my emotions in an uproar!

Learning a bit more about Benjamin. Horrible events in his childhood commemorated with tattoos.....I love it. Jackass Matthew trying to force Katherine to move in with him, sell her business, and marry him-using some cryptic threat about harming her family. I don't blame Katherine for feeling trapped.

Good grief, I LOATHE Matthew. He's controlling, pretentious, abusive, and obviously after Katherine' s money. What a turd! Benjamin is seriously sexy, but only refers to her as 'Miss'-sounds like my students...Ugh! Wake up & smell the coffee! :-)

This book is refreshing, well written and classy. I am very happy to have been gifted with the ARC and will review when done.

Just how dirty is Daniel? His mom recently passed away, but how? And where the hell is his sister?! She was supposed to inherit the family's land, but no one can get a hold of her. Things that make me go "Hmmmm".

Ok, so Daniel s not just an asshole. He's a very dangerous asshole! Jeez, breaking into Melissa's home, tying her up and blinfolding her while she sleeps...can anyone say power rapist? What a raging psycho! Melissa has finally come clean about Daniel's machinations and is attempting to lay a trap of her own.

Found out about Brett's mother's suicide (how sad), and his hatred of his father. Melissa knows Brett' s dad from somewhere, but can't place him. It will be interesting to see how Daniel's duplicity, Melissa's attempts to discover Daniel's true motives, and Brett' s reaction to Melissa's secrecy and lies. Hmm...this is really good!

I was fortunate to receive an ARC in return for my honest opinion. It was a slow starter for me, but boy do I love Melissa and Brett. Both have trust issues - which I personally struggle with - and their relationship is just budding. Daniel, Melissa's ex-husband, is a conniving smarmy bastard! I am completely invested in, and enjoying the story.
