Listened to 50% on my travel days- audiobooks are hard for me I feel like I get too distracted and don’t fully absorb the story. But so far it’s keeping my attention! Excited to see where it goes. All the timelines and seemingly random chapter titles have me a bit confused though.

This is really hard for me to get into. Started strong and now to me it’s really slow… having a hard time wanting to pick it up.

So many thoughts. Predictions. I was worried midway thru it would get boring or feel like it was dragging because things happened so quick at the start- but so far so good.

This book has been a bit slow. A lot of dialogue and discussion and not a lot of action. But when I tell you in the midst of a wordy conversation the author just…. my JAW IS ON THE FLOOR.

Definitely not as enthralling of a start as I had hoped.

1. I feel like I keep reading and somehow am not getting closer to the end.
2. So much is consistently happening, number 1 isn’t feeling like a problem just yet

I get the hype. I’m also a little surprised I am so attached to a dragon LOL who inevitably something will happen to, but still.

Why is this obstacle/trial situation making me think of the shows American Ninja Warrior and Wipeout 😂😂😂

Have I started three different books to try and get out of my slump? Yes. Was this book number 3? Also yes… a bold choice. But 100 pages in and I’m not having a bad time. A lot of terms to digest but other than that, I’m intrigued.

I love the plot, the characters, the world… but whyyyy can I not get on board with spice. I just don’t love it!

Am I in a super slump, or did anyone else literally not care one bit about this book as they read it. Will this be my first ever DNF??

This has been a ROUGH start for me lol just unsure where I stand with books like this. However it is finally starting to interest me. I’ve heard too many good things to give up 😅

Okay we are finally starting to pick up now.

This book is taking me ages to read. I want to know what happens, but I’m BORED 😭
