This is exactly why Cassandra Clare is my favourite author. I'm only 8% in and I already adore the characters and the world they're set in. Am I selfish to hope that Kel and Connor are more than just friends? Probably yes. Even though this is a m/f book, a girl can still dream. To be clear I LOVE this book already!

What can I say except I love this!! The rich descriptions, unique tarot magical system and dark lore ooze dark gothic vibes. And oh my god I love the characters. Also did I mention there is a whole tonne of morally grey characters...my dream. Definitely 100% shaping up to be one of my faves this year.
