I feel like my punishment in hell will be having to reread these books over and over again, never remembering how they end. I am in such misery and I have never so desperately wanted characters to be together and so far apart more in my life. There is no happy ending on the horizon, only pain, their ending together will only result in agony and yet I cannot look away.

Here I thought this book would get to me the same way Don’t Let The Forest In did….i was very wrong…I mean what the fuck??? Idk why I always read these books in public…this can’t be good for my health….

Why? Why must they always been related in some way?

Okay things are finally getting interesting in Zora’s chapters but some of my other gripes are still standing. I do think I’ll finish this book unless something really grates on me. I don’t think this book deserves a two star or lower but I can also see why so many people have also given it that…hopefully this vaguely makes sense.

This book has some really good bones, but it also has some issues. I’m hoping Zora’s storyline gets more interesting since he’s meant to be the main character, but for now the side plot lines are overshadowing hers. I also think it’s an issue of voice. If Zora’s chapters were written in first person some of the ramblings would make a lot more sense.

Only C.G Drews can make me feel this way in 50 pages and ya know what…I’m here for it. Also….these bitches gay…..gay as hell.

As a lover of weird lit this book is definitely interesting. I curious to see where it goes but it’s also not enough? Idk how to describe it but, I feel like there could have been more. I’m hoping this pick up in the second half of this.
