This story is killing me.

The resistance just makes me so angry. Helena is literally the backbone of most things and yet is treated like garbage.

This is such a heartbreaking story. Continue to be frustrated by how Helena is underestimated and under appreciated but (nearly) everyone.

This is just so long. I’m still enjoying it, but surely there are things that could be removed/ shortened

Not a bad novella…worth a read if you want a link between this series and the new one.

I’ve made it to the flashbacks. Already her perceived ‘lack of contribution’ to the war effort is grinding my gears. Wish there was a glossary of terms/ names.

Steep learning curve with the new magic system & world. But it already has me hooked.

All the movie sneak peaks had me wanting to pick this one up again.

Such a sucker for ‘brothers best friend’ romances. And this one is hitting all the right notes so far! Don’t want to put it down.

Started listening to the audiobook and enjoying it. Didn’t realise I was already 25% through. Like their dynamic (grumpy x sunshine) and their forced proximity….

Do enjoy the humour in this story. We’re getting somewhere a bit more exciting with the plot in the latter part of the book

Multi pov. Cute and festive. very fluffy and mimicked the movie The Holiday (even some of the dialogue). It’s short and cute.
