IM ALREADY GUTTED and we’re just getting started.

- the parallels between Haymitch and Katniss is going to continue I fear and I’m already in pain 😭
- TO THINK CHANCE DIDN’T PICK HIM. HE WAS CHOSEN. How awful.

Here we go…I am not ready…ALREADY there are references going on 😭

So far I'm having mixed feelings about this book...very educational, but there's things being talked about here that I wasn't expecting. Staying tuned...

Things are getting more interesting…again, the reveals in this book aren’t exactly shocking, so that doesn’t really elevate it. And girl, just tell them all already!! They all know you’re hiding something after you maimed two men!! (Which was crazy by the way. The fight scenes when the Nightmare takes over is absolutely badass.)

This book is actually quite more interesting so far than I thought it would be. Some reveals have been pretty predictable...but I do love the magic system and the Nightmare concept. The use of the cards in the magic system is really unique!

Nothing really shocks me anymore about how awful humanity can be, but some of these numbers are indeed insane. This author really puts things into perspective clearly.
