well i was coming on here to say i thought this was interesting and was having fun, but then found out that apparently the author closely copied the real idaho student murders for her book and the main character does things that that real murderer did. no thanks!

enjoying, though pacing-wise a little slow thus far. looking forward to when this poor woman starts exacting some revenge

i lied when i said i had started it. i just brought it on my trip. and read one page this morning then realized i was unable to focus this morning

this book is definitely for boys and a little hacky i feel. main character is such an asshole and i can’t tell if i’m supposed to like him/if it’s an author self insert. and yet i am too intrigued by the premise to abandon it yet. God forbid a girl be compelled

cant believe this has been on my shelf untouched for so long… truly magical

ok yes! a refreshingly empowered protagonist… the last hour of this was perfect to listen to while frantically packing and running in circles

i am having fun!

unfortunately this 3rd one, while having a delightful premise and great narrative voice, is a bit of a slog for me to get through…

first 2 novellas were great

NURSE ITS HAPPENING AGAIN

picked this back up today and i’m worried about what might happen to me

seriously uncanny. you know that meme that’s like “what to say to people with anxiety: REPEAT YOURSELF. REPEAT YOURSELF. YOURE NOT MAKING SENSE.” yeah

i am immediately frightened - and not helped by the audiobook narrator’s rendition of “the caller” who sounds a lot like longlegs 😭 let me in nowwww it would be so nicceeee

enjoying this, but in the moment realizing that it is quite a headache-forward book which is not the best when u yourself are headachy
