Love the well written dialogue and love the flawless cutting between characters at different places in Westmark.

It’s a bit weird that Lloyd decided to spilt this thin fantasy book into parts, but okay.

Also I think the writing is a lot stronger than most of his other books I have read, loved the introduction of Mickle.

Really liking it. I was a bit scared that Taran and Theo would be the same character, but they are both different. Also loved chapter 5 that takes place from another perspective
Will continue this soon.

Had to stop reading to go watch Robert's short film "Bed head" and honestly not bad for his first short film,

I’m on the part about him finishing editing, it was very satisfying to read.

Also I’m probably not going to finish my book challenge this year, but hey I rather read a lot of books like this that, I like then a bunch of bad books I wouldn’t remember

Pretty good, but I should probably go to bed soon. Here is my favorite quote so far:

“I'm twenty-three years old. Orson Welles made Citizen Kane when he was twenty-five. Spielberg made Jaws at twenty-six,
So I've only got about two or three years to make my breakthrough film. I've got to get moving.” Page 23

Got this for Christmas from the family

Loving it so far. It’s very interesting to read about him watching and making films at a young age, then seeing him make his own film as a test for the Spanish video market to get financing for a real film. Will definitely keep reading this tonight.
