Divvy S is on page 161 of 266 of Against the Madness of Manu: B.R. Ambedkar's Writings on Brahmanical Patriarchy
Never before has it hit me harder than before how honoured I am to share my birthday with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar than when I'm reading this book. I could never measure up, but it's an honour nonetheless

You know you're reading a CC book when the mains are described as beautiful in great detail even by side characters for no reason whatsoever :)

Divvy S is on page 37 of 288 of Borders and Boundaries: How Women Experienced the Partition of India
I will get back to this later. It is very well-researched and very thorough in outlining women's forgotten stories during the Partition (thank you for that, Britain -_-), but this was so painful to read too. So very painful. It is horrifying to imagine what everyone went through just as we all attained freedom. They never taught us this in school.

Loving the US slander in this book. As a person who doesn't even live there, it's incredibly frustrating to see every little thing in the world concern a country I live three oceans across from and don't care about but am forced to
