ok look. i get that elizabeth zott is like a scientist and does stuff her own way, but surely she understands that shes on TELEVISION and this that this is a different industry and market to science? like she took this job to pay her bills, surely she understands that if she doesnt do the job the way that the producers or the audience likes, that she wont be able to pay her bills???

im crying yo THIS BOOK IS SO LONG. I FEEL LIKE IVE READ SO MUCH OF IT ALREADY which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, im glad that it has a lot of plot and build up BUT LIKE DAMN!

this book is so long im gonna cry wdym i have 9 more hours in the book

...ok maybe unpopular opinion but i think avery giving away 94% of her inheritance was too much of a safe ending... like. i feel like it was kinda building up to something more, cause she had to rewrite the plan over and over right cause of grayson??? but it's just so... basic?//??? like it's all going to charity, it's not that deep guys

theres no plot in this book so far.... im hoping it gets better....

i loveee books with alternating timelines, it gets confusing sometimes but it makes u understand the connection between the characters better and lets u become more invested in their story :) it reminds me of every summer after

i think the writing style in this book is really interesting and for sure something i haven't seen before, but i think it's cool! it jumps between past and "present" and various flashbacks of the characters, showing their backgrounds. so there isn't really a "main" character, which you would think is sam masur and sadie green, but it also shows a little marx backstory )who i really see myself in tbh)
