i think the writing style in this book is really interesting and for sure something i haven't seen before, but i think it's cool! it jumps between past and "present" and various flashbacks of the characters, showing their backgrounds. so there isn't really a "main" character, which you would think is sam masur and sadie green, but it also shows a little marx backstory )who i really see myself in tbh)
