This is by far the best thing I’ve read in this Shakespeare class since Richard II cause Pericles and Troilus both sucked 😭

I genuinely am falling in love with this but god is it hard to follow at times

I’m writing this from my pulpit to have proof: I wanted to finish Middlemarch in a month which I failed at, but I also haven’t finished Moby Dick. I’m going to read 30 min of Middlemarch and afterwards 30 min of Moby Dick until finished, while reading shorter novels on the side to keep myself literary motivated. It’s finally time for Giovanni’s Room

I really do love the writing style but it’s hard to keep up with all the characters and plot

Wanted to read this whole thing and finish Moby Dick by the end of March, learnt I will be reading Moby Dick for my only lit class (American literature and philosophy of the 1800s) next semester so Melville is on the back-burner. I really do struggle with this but it is a rewarding text, and I sure as hell prefer this writing to The Mill in The Floss.

Couldn’t sleep (waited too long to take my sleep aid), checked canvas for shits and giggles, was apparently supposed to have read Act 1 and 2 by class tomorrow. It’s 2 AM. What hath God wrought.

Cannot wait to learn what he is like as a grader!!!

Planned to read on Monday, woke up violently hungover, slept until 6:15 after my classes, went to a concert, got back, did not do my hw, woke up at 7:30 today, and did the reading/listening this morning. I could not tell you a thing about it. Were so back.

Why you would assign that every student must buy the psychical book in a specific translation, only to not read a vast majority of the text will be always beyond me. I’m just rereading the whole thing. Mama didn’t raise a quitter but she did raise someone with insane sunk cost value for using a $15 coupon.

I know it refers to actual heads but I couldn’t stop laughing imaging Ahab saying “I don't need an I phone X or airpods... I need a Philly cheese steak, some weed, and a bitch to give me head #mood” in a raspy, harpooner voice.

I did not wanna pay for an uber so I walked the mile between the Metro and campus in the cold last night at 11:30 pm, holding a Wawa coffee for warmth in one hand and hiding the other under a hoodie I bought at a concert. Immaculate vibe for this book, as I tried not to fall while walking on the side of the road.
