I am not immune to hype and propaganda

Damnit I’m going to count this one

Finally picked this up after a months long hiatus. Really great so far, I’m sure I disagree with a few points, but the overall thesis is compelling and I hope to finish soon.

Wonderful read. Steinbeck captures the American spirit in a manner I feel close to home. Perhaps we share a similar nature, as he suggests. For, we see people and culture in similar ways. Regardless, he reminds me of the things I love and hate about Americans. It is my home, and these are my people. I highly recommend the read.

I am at war with Libby

Lost it from Libby before finished… waiting in anguish. I am 36th in line to get it back.

Picked this back up after two months… I am determined to finish this in the next few weeks. Throughly unimpressed so far, but there is time.

Libby! Stop tormenting me! I believe I am now reading 6 things at a time? Perhaps 5? We shall see what is finished and what is not.

Libby is trying to curse me into never finishing a book… been waiting for this one for a long time. Will I finish this before the ones I’ve had on shelf for months? We will see.

Will I ever finish this?? God I hope. I keep getting audiobooks I’ve been waiting ages for and have to dedicate time to them.
