This book is so boring

Had I read this on Ao3 I would have called the prose awful. First book down. Sad it wasn't an actual ghost.

Sad to see that this is written so poorly. Everything is told not shown. There's no subtetly at all. The voice of narration is pretty confusing as well. It used "I" at one point. Who is it??
