My toxic trait is continuing to act like I’m reading this book when really I’m trying to do everything but read it because it’s boring at the moment…but I’m also stubborn and won’t pick another book to read because I can’t read two books at the same time so here we are. Trapped in a reading slump of my own making.

The first cover was cooler

Pretty happy with my progress so far ☺️

The way only way ive been able to read this is by pushing past every instinct I have to weep and just keep on reading no matter how many names I don’t know or how much doesn’t make sense yet. It’ll all come together in the end..I think.

I feel like I’ve been given all the slices of one magnificent cake and have been asked to picture what the cake was like when it was still whole.
If that makes sense.

I borrowed 4 other books along with this one, but honestly my goal is to finish this book by the end of summer.
