“Max thought: what did any of the boys really know about Shelley? He was a lanky, furtive boy who kept to himself with an inner intensity of evasion and secrecy”.

Shelley: “he was simply methodical by nature”. He is the scariest part of the book so far, an interesting character but he gives me the chills.

Scoutmaster Tim: it’s interesting to see his sense of command and control over his scouts diminish.

I can tell that Nick Cutter is a very descriptive writer.
