I have previously read The Cellist of Sarajevo and thought it was really good and gave a real sense of living under seige in a city. I didnt get the same feeling at all with this novel sadly.

First novel by this author and first in Damian Seeker series. I did enjoy it but probably wont read any others.

I enjoyed it, a quick read, not very complex for a spy thriller, but well written with a lot of the usual 007 in it.

Second by this author and do love her descriptive writing and this one based around Monarch butterflies was very good.

I really enjoyed the novel, but hated the ending, so abrupt, like the author didnt know how to end it!

I absolutely loved this book. I do love my music so the main character Frankie really spoke to me. Lots of references to other musicians and other great characters like his Father and his second greatest love after music Aurora.

My fourth of Rachel Joyce's and my least favourite. Did not connect with the characters as I did in previous books.

Another excellent read by Conn Iggulden. I have read his series on Caesar and Genghis Khan and this first book in The War of the Roses series lived up to my expectations.
