I don't know why I thought this book would have a more historical setting, but it's definitely giving me futuristic Waterworks vibes, and I am here for it.

It seems like a good time to get into this one.

It's been a REALLY long time since I read a good old fashioned adventure fantasy.

I found it! I misplaced the ARC I won and was super frustrated because I really wanted to read. My husband stuck it with my daughter's books. 🤦‍♀️

I don't know if I can do this. I was already having doubts, but then I started skimming the author interview at the back and kind of came across a spoiler, so now I feel like I'm really going to be pissed at the ending.

The size of this book is rather daunting, and I fear the problems of the first two books will only be multiplied. Nothing to do but carry on and hope for the best.

This is why I'm reading this book. I adore Robin Hood stories.

My theory is correct.

I have a theory... and I think, if I'm wrong, I may end up as mad at this book as I was at the BBC Robin Hood TV series.

It's been a while since I read a book so quickly!

Kind of hard to take this seriously when some of the character names sound like they belong in Beatrix Potter. Mr Gobbledee? Mrs Furrowfog? Pegglewim in and Cookrook?

This is the first time I'm attempting to read a physical book alongside an ebook. I didn't want to take my Kindle to the office.

I'm having a really hard time caring about this story.

This is good, but some parts are just really frickin weird.

How have you broken my heart already, Neil Gaiman?
