After more than 100 pages I'm starting to actually enjoy it

Why everyone acts so weird. They are like characters from a dream

Feels weird to keep reading this after Christmas but I'm not finding it as entertaining as I thought I would.

Why can't I be a Victorian rich woman whose whole life constists of going for walks, going to dinners and balls and visiting her friends' mansions in the countryside.

I just hope Frank does something horrible so Emma doesn't end up with him because there's something realy weird about him.

This book is making me reconsider how much English I actually know because what is that vocabulary?? I've read many Victorian novels but I don't think I ever found it this difficult to understand what is happening
