This is killing me, why can't I get into it

This has every single aspect of a book I would love... And I can't get through it

The Read the world challenge is going down

Putting my class required books here so maybe I'll read my TWO REQUIRED BOOKS PER WEEK each week

This is actually great even though it is giving mandatory reading in 7th grade English

Just spent 10 minutes confused why everyone was freaking out about this couple being together, and then remembered about homophobia...

This is such a lovely break from my Read the World challenge. Apparently most books set in the Global South are not light reads... Who could have predicted this...

This is so funny if you imagine like a 3rd grader came up with the idea and wrote it. Talking pots of basil can't lie because they're the most trustworthy herb? Flawless logic. It lied about that? Fun! The husband tried to make the bed but instead ripped all the sheets in half? Okay makes sense. The town is worried because they saw goblins before goblin season? Tracks to me. There's an HOA? Realistic world building.

I miss magic tree house :(

I am somehow bored both because there is no plot and because the plot is boring

This is the dream. They magically go to the Galapagos, and then they put on magic name badges that magically give them expert turtle knowledge

I have got to say, there is something so refreshing about going back to the source. I might crack open some fairy books, some Bailey School Kids, no one can stop me

Also! When is the last time you opened a book and got TWO bird facts on the first page?? Never, and I think that's a real shame

Putting this on to fall asleep and then getting sucked in! This is so good!
