It's goooood guys

Just the introduction, and I think this will be a good one

You guys do not understand... I had this book as a kid and have been looking for it for YEARS. all I could remember was the alternative cover and I just found it

This is so so good, but his name is so stupid

Problem one - this is tragically written by a man, and even more tragically, you can tell

Problem two - I think most people read this for like a class or something where they sought it out. I was not supposed to stumble upon it by accident. I'm going to throw off the curve

Unfortunately this is boring

Me reading a book that I picked out "oh this is kind of good"

If you've ever asked or thought about what it means to be a migrant, asked about my job or why I still do it when it's seemingly futile, or have touted stories of "good" immigrants - read this before talking to me again

I am crying laughing at this
Why??? I don't relate to any of the content about being famous, or aging, or a mother, or a new Yorker. But I am a woman, and so I am laughing

I've been misled.... I thought this was about jellyfish. And technically a jellyfish was mentioned but the rest of it is very high level biological musings

This is such a lovely story about resilience and belief, but gee wiliker am I pissed off

The more memoirs I read with large chunks of father daughter relationship discourse, the more I think I should write one
