oh noooooo, this is adorable

I've enjoyed watching this series go from tacky, hole-ridden, "not like other girls" bullshit into an entertaining, tense fantasy were well-written women befriend and defend each other from creepy dudes. Finally my 'gotta finish this shit series' masochism has paid off.

Every time I start to get invested in this book, it fucks everything up by throwing out some snippet about how gross fat people are, or how women should never date short men because they're all annoying, or some bit of Gabaldon's questionable views on consent. Blegh.

This Rowan guy is saying everything I've thought about Celaena for the past two books. Also: I wish this series were about Manon instead. She's great.
