I’m really drawn to the premise of this. I’m just wondering if we need this much exposition. Maybe this would’ve been a better short story?

Okay. I know 2% of the way done is not enough to judge, but here I go. I already feel like this isn’t the least bit subtle. I’m struggling with what the tone of this should be. Is it satire? Is it too self-aware? Too “of the time”? I don’t know, man. I’m finishing it after paying the ridiculous price on Kindle, but I’m not stoked.

This is dumber than anything I could’ve imagined. Also. “I can’t let this monster get away with this.”

“It feels cold-almost frigid.” This book is a parody of itself. 🙃

Naw fam. The correctional officer is guilty. Trying to predict this twist is the only motivation I have to finish this terrible book.

I try to keep an open mind and read things that I don’t typically gravitate to. I’m in kind of a reading slump and extremely stressed in life, so I wanted something not serious and fun. But damn. The writing is so bad.
