I remember growing up and watching this family on YouTube — so insane what was going on when the cameras were off. My heart breaks for the children! The author, the oldest daughter, is very good at telling the story - a lot of which the media doesn’t know. Flying through this book, listening to the audiobook that she narrates!

Eating this story UP

I feel like I’ve flown through this book for how big it is & wow Kristin Hannah really knows how to rip my heart out of my chest and stomp on it. I knew this would probably happen after reading the Nightingale by her but WOW. I’m sobbing

This book is super cute, lots of highlights of very thoughtful & wholesome words from the two main characters. The author is a very talented writer! I’ve caught myself laughing out loud which is rare for a book, especially a romance! However, this book has been super slow for me for some reason. I see it starting to pick up soon though!

okay so far:
a lot more world building but still a lil confused, the love letters have returned 😭, & i really don’t know how this book is going to end

yikes 🥴🥴🥴 thought this would be similar to the housemaid books but i was mistaken.. still gonna tough it out and finish it & hopefully there is a big twist at the end that makes it semi worth it

Loving all of Ann Judson’s journal entries throughout the book.
