For a short moment I thought Kelric might not be such a bad guy and I even understand his anger towards Dargon for hiding Forluna / her forest. However the way he absolutely invalidates any other opinion but his own and belittles his brother is both infuriating and disgusting. Also, while he thinks of Gonivein a lot and wishes to be with her, it's always in the context of her body and sexual acts. It's revolting.

Okay, I was definitely wrong about the God / Goddess trying to reach out to Gadnor. I should have known that it was Artemis. Totally makes sense since her brother Apollo is related to the original rulers of Helinthia. Not to mention because I'm still convinced Apollo is the one in contact with Gonivein.
Gadnor has definitely grown on me the last few chapters. His brother Kelric not so much. Quite the opposite in fact

My thoughts up to chapter 15:

So far the multiple POVs have been done very well, though they switch a lot as most of the cast has been separated.
Forluna and Dargon are great, likeable characters and I want to know more about their relationship and shared history. How, when and where did they meet?
I trust neither Kelric nor Tendior. The first so far seems like horny asshole and the latter's behaviour is shady af.

Plans are in motion to overthrow King Claus (aka. Santa)! I really like where this is going. 😏

We also finally got some intimate alone time between Coal and Hex. While I didn't have any expectations regarding potential spicy scenes, I definitely enjoy how Raasch writes them. Not too explicit and quite tasteful. It leaves a lot up to the readers imagination.
