Later stories are interesting

Enjoyed Guy de Maupassant story. About him translating works of fiction into Russian for a wealthy woman.

Britain focused but truly wild how similar a lot of the discourse from 10 years ago is so similar to now America 2026.

Crazy how 10 years later it reads more like a prophecy. Focused on the UK, but still relevant even if written in 2017.

The Awakening and In the Basement are interesting stories. Easier to follow, more autobiographical, filled with a lot to dig into, with big themes like following your dreams and pressure of fitting in.

I liked Karl-Yankel story.

Really good and interesting. Matti has a great way of writing and storytelling. An enlightening book about Judaism, music, the Yom Kippur war, and love.
