I don’t know how I feel about this book. I really don’t feel anything towards these characters they’re all pretty one dimensional

idk if it’s just me but the timeline of this book is all over the place. the tv show had much better pacing.

I’m really not enjoying this series anymore

some of these povs are straight up insufferable. like if I have to read the nickname “love” one more time I’m going to throw up. these people have known each other for less than 24 hours mind you.

one thing about jlb, she writes like the only emotion a character can feel is INTENSE bold in all caps and italics. she doesn't let a single moment breathe so the high stakes (wrt emotion and plot) she thinks she's building end up just being unbelievably cringe. everything in moderation jennifer!!! like I love these characters but let me invest without shoving intensity down my throat for breakfast lunch and dinner
