Okay so I’m going to finish this but the protag is clearly written to be neurodivergent in some unspecified why but it feels….voyeuristic instead of charming or simply a neutral trait like the author intends?

But I like the flow so far I think. Current assessment is that I’ll finish it but not read the sequels.

How on earth does a HarperCollins book make it to market with a sentence saying “skincare regime” instead of “regimen”? Other than that liking it so far.

This is very dense. I swear it has 50% more words per page than I’m used to. I think I like it? The book. Not the additional words.
