This book is fine but nothing we haven’t learned after 17 years of marriage.

Uplifting and depressing reminder of where we could be now.

As good the second time.

I enjoyed this. It’s a sort of YA Woman King story.

Loved it so sweet to continue the series with something relatively light in these crazy times.

Oof. I don’t mind a formulaic romance, but this was too predictable and didn’t really stray from exactly what I thought would happen. It also felt like it could’ve been a lot shorter for the plot. Several times there were throwaway lines cobbling things together that were never explained previously, but it was an easy read after some heavy books so I’ll take it for that.

I listened to over half then had to give up. I liked aspects of it but couldn’t stay interested enough to finish.
