Great book. The swearing was probably equal to the crying.

Loved this more than expected and found it very emotional in a good way.

Such an important book. I wish I knew THIS real version of history growing up. While I learned most of this along the way on my own, I am glad to have finally read (listened). And Matt Damon’s narration is the chef’s kiss (if you know Good Will Hunting).

Great book. Feels like something all humans should read and integrate.

Listened to this after reading Just Mercy and hearing him on a podcast. What an incredible story. I don’t think I would have found the perseverance he did.

I loved her first book. This one was too icky for me as a teacher and woman. While it is well written, it was too graphic and close to home for me.
