This book just wasn't for me. I got 6ish chapters in and it was too grotesque for my taste. Knowing she is going to sleep with essentially a living/rotting corpse full of maggots is a no for me.

I am close to DNFing. I feel like nothing I happening in the story and it does not feel like a romantasy. So far it is a fantasy with trials/games to fight to the death and we haven't gotten to the games yet.
