I am close to DNFing. I feel like nothing I happening in the story and it does not feel like a romantasy. So far it is a fantasy with trials/games to fight to the death and we haven't gotten to the games yet.

Why are having spicy sleep right now? There are literal flying monsters attacking the city with an active rebellion and instead of making sure everything is going according to plan were getting our rocks off? 🙄
