why are we basically cheating on the fiancé??? like i love chloe and gavin but does she have to straight up cheat?

about time i came back to chloe and gavin after the novella

time to reread this one

equally morally grey characters? sign me the fuck up !!

i NEED to know what that was all about (aka the hype)

giving the audio book a try instead

i’m sorry c*ck-WHAT?? do i mark as dnf or what i’m so confused

what on earth?!

okay maybe i have a thing for sports romances, SUE ME

“but as someone who’d never had a lot of friends, I was homesick for the ease I used to feel around him”

this is getting a little uhhh…weird?

another “reread”

THEY FOUND THEM THEY FOUND THEM THEY FOUND THEM OH MY GOD

"Rage devours me from the scalp down, storming through my veins in a surge of heat that sizzles the rain on my skin. I yank my dagger from her neck, flip it, and throw in one smooth motion.
My blade lodges in the fleshy part of Costa’s shoulder, and he bellows, his torso slackening for the one heartbeat Xaden needs to knock Costa’s blade loose"

BADASS

and so the revolution begins!

HE’S ALIVE?? WHAT THE FUCK

i was listening to a stephanie soo BAM about this book and i suddenly wanted to start reading it so here we go starting from where i stopped in the episode

"my flower is ephemeral…and she only has four thorns to defend herself against the world. and i have left her on my planet, all alone!"

this is so cute
