Derfel has become one of my favorite characters in this book…him going into the Isle of the Dead for Nimue🫶🏻

Even though this is a retelling, this book does have an important message, which is how easily history can be rewritten to hide things and romanticize others and villainize those you hate

Yea...I couldn't not jump straight into this

I see Kaladin in Arthur…probably why I love Arthur a lot rn

This is slowly pulling me out of my slump

Ramiro and Ines are the only people I acc really love up till this point in the book…besides Jehane’s mother and father

…there’s so much I need to say but I just finished part 4 and I need more Shallan and Kaladin scenes

How is the rest of the series supposed to get better than this? I’m genuinely worried that no book in the series will live up to this one
