this book infuriates me!!! especially after all the cornell 7 investigations ahhhhhh to be a woman is hard but i didn’t know korea made it a 10000 times worse??

look….. you gotta read it to understand how im feeling! 😭😭😭

totally up my alley!! historical fiction but make it time travel with magic yessssss

So far, promising! Interesting enough but i can see this being a slow burn and this is the first book of patchett i am reading, having high hopes!!

so far it has got me feeling like a teenager again, the kind of love story that hasnt got me cringing

I don’t know what style of writing I am reading, it is indeed very unique. The cat scene honestly made me very uncomfortable and I guess that means it is good writing? My first murakami book so maybe this style is specific to him? Too many questions!

Listen to your lawyers during the prenup!!! And i just realised the cover looks like 2 ospreys which is the favourite bird of the ex husband of the author

idk where this is going honestly

can i just say…… i know it is going to be my 2/3 rd update for this book today, but i am racing through this book because i cant on earth figure out the 1800s version of yesteryear natalie is currently in!! and apparently the ending is off the rails so i just cant wait, i am pretty sure i will be done with this book by the end of today, so excited to share my full thoughts on this book at the end

if only i could sit and finish this now, i would! again this is not giving first novel of the author vibes

hmm it does pick up towards the end

i think it is sitting at a 3/3.5 now i hope the ending is good

so badly want to finish this in one go, but alas adulting 😭
