I’m purposefully picking the shorter books on my TBR to read because I’ve read too many 800+ page books that take me a while. & thus I’ve fallen behind on my yearly goal

Okay I’ve been in a reading slump but I’m back. I feel like the name Asher has come up more than it should (twice) it’s not that common of a name. This book has been consistently mid so far

I’m devastated. I read this book because I thought it would be a fun fantasy novel. Wrong. Very very wrong.

I miss when I only read books with guaranteed happy endings

Usually when I read a book I always feel like there is an obvious right answer to the moral dilemmas the characters face. But this has me stumped , damned if you do & damned if you don’t

This was my pick for book club and I already know this one will be a doozy. Reading about racism and knowing it was probably 100x worse than this makes me want to crawl out of my skin
