the chapters so far did not catch me as much (or the chapter by Vera Blossom I actually found offensive and disregarding the pain of so many sex workers), however the chapter Union by DL Alvarez was a genuinely enjoyable read, let‘s see how I feel about the other stories

reading nora ephron and now this is probably one of the biggest genre jumps I have done in a while

take this book away from me, it makes me giggle in public.
But please look at that and tell me you wouldn‘t:
„I was fascinated by the story. I couldn‘t believe that anyone would be so sexually driven that he might actually skip lunch - and after an auction! I think of myself as a healthy person with a strong sex drive, but it‘s never occurred to me to forgo meals.“

really nice so far, especially enjoying the side story lines

„He smelled of clean sweat“ girlie what is this. women really think of men and be like „it is sweat, but in the not disgusting way“

is the second half really shit or why is the rating so bad? cause the first half is definitely not anything under a 4star rating

honestly so far it is better than I thought. i don‘t think this will be a 5 star read but the writing style is quite interesting and it evokes quite conflicting feelings as you feel bad for her but also she is a bit of a b*tch and you have to laugh but then you feel bad for laughing. so let‘s see how this read is gonna go

Okay i am hooked

i was kind of expecting this to be a super light and fun read, while I am still enjoying it my expectations definitely mislead me. The dark-ish humour is still fitting to my current mood so I am not complaining

I knew I was gonna be hooked on this
