I have been rereading for the past two months just casually when I’m tanning and don’t have a new book I’m actively reading but I’d not rly read anything for a couple weeks and wow, picking this up today, at the stage of the book that I am in, it is so exactly what I needed

“The feeling catches me off guard. Oh. Love.”

Literally taking copious breaks to watch daisy jones and the six edits bc this book makes me miss that book/show

I know it looks like I’m not finishing any books I just keep hopping around genres, currently reading this litfic, poetry by Plath, and a classic by Steinbeck lowk restraining myself from also starting a romance by ashley poston or rereading magnolia parks (Rhea don’t tempt me)

Yet to meet the main character… not quite sure what the point of this is yet but it’s been pretty fun thus far ig

Been reading this for like the past four hours of the read-a-thon… switching to ya bc my brain is tired and I can’t focus on complex sentences. Hardest part of this challenge isn’t even the reading it’s just the being awake

Genuinely not intentional, just coincidentally the end of my chapter. So insanely good.

Enticed by the “catch flights, not feelings” on the cover of course. Seems like trope-city, might have to begin an offense list beginning with the fact that the author genuinely used the term “ample bosom” which is just gross.

WHAT THE HECK IS EVEN GOING ON!!!!!!!!

Tbh the first hundred pages or so I wasn’t really caring for this too much. Like magical elements in an otherwise lifelike romance book kind of bugged me because it took me out of the story. If im going to be reading a romance I’d really prefer it to be like love and other words or normal people and be very real but I’m a sucker for any book with a soul mates trope so I dont even care anymore this is fun!!
