Female perspective is so much more vapid than the male perspective it's actually very suspicious. Also, so much lore that I can't really follow it, I'm honestly so confused about who hates who and who did what. I know that real history is confusing too but it's keeping me disconnected from investing much.

I didn't love the first few chapters, I didn't like how overly quirky Alice was coming off, and I cringed a bit at the description/introduction of Hayden. I like them both a lot more now, I feel like the stereotypes have worn down a bit which I suppose is likely the whole point of this book. Either way, I'm invested!
