First mention of Merlin!!

Least erotic sex scene I’ve read in a while. Could do without. Description makes me cringe.
They cuddle and the next page is saying she has been transformed into a pig. Obviously more interesting things have happened behind the scenes and the reader is given the highlights with none of the juice or description.

“Slimies” make me imagine orcs from ltor every time. Not sure if this is intentional due to the magical aspect and lack of description of who they are as no one knows where they came from.

Very matter of fact, but surprisingly fast paced due to the short chapters. The plot is interesting- lacks intrigue and suspense due to the narration not involving emotion. I’m very interested in the magical aspects and Lady Malanders council of druids but this is mostly sub-plot for the Lords having convos about where they are placing troops. Jumping between characters means there are no in depth explanations.
