lia is pissing me off. like wdym cassie can’t be upset abt her moms body being found? i get michael’s dad is terrible and that sloane is going through it but michael made the choice to go home for christmas and sloane could tell the others and get support. also cassie found out abt her mom before sloanes stiff so why should she have to be the one who needs to hold everyone together? so ya good so far but hate lia

Ok, I always love Lynn‘s books, but I’m a little disappointed by the lack of scenes that Alec and Dani actually have together. Especially with this being a dual POV. I’m not crazy far in yet so I know it will get better, but I’m just waiting for it to pick up. So grateful I got this the day it came out, and I really want to know what Alec is so mad at Dani for doing before she moved when she was younger😭

so I’m only 4 chapters in but like I already hate Sterling and she was in like three pages. what do you mean they can’t refer to themselves as their abilities now? they might be teenagers but that doesn’t change the fact that Dean and Cassie are profilers? I don’t get y briggs isnt here because shes talking like theyre shutting down the program. I hate her already. She’s giving me locke flashbacks.

chapter 100! ok so i like hate sirius, idc if remus forgave him. i LOVEEEE grant and hate that i only get him for like one chapter each year. im SOOOO happy sirius broke up with mary cuz they were so annoying. ik everything is gonna get so much darker since theyre in their 6th year… i think its safe to say a lot of crying will happen soon. i cant wait for james and lily to go out, but i dont want to watch them die

james flirting with lily is adorable, and i love that she actually hexes him and stuff rather than just ignoring him.

third year is fun so far but just want james and sirius to include remus more and not leave him out. ik they’re best friends but remus is also their friend, and james invited remus to christmas too

it surprises me how scarily accurate some of these scenes are to the 2nd quarter quell short film. like it was made 14 years ago and I get that we had an idea of some of the scenes of haymitch’s games from the original trilogy, but it just surprised me how accurate so many of the scenes were.

im so happy that oak is back in elfhame bc now jude and cardan r in the book tons, but like why couldnt wren just stay in the palace with themmm like i get she wants to be all independent but if oak wants to see her he has to go all the way to the docks to her stupid little cottage. also oak saying that theyre betrothed is so like him, i dont know what i expected, its 100% the type of lie he would come up with
