now that I’ve finished this, I’m really sad. It’s weird to watch the characters go from teenagers to adults in such a quick jump. I literally can’t wait for the new book to come out. I’m so happy because I know Cassie and Dean will finally be together the entire time by then because he’ll be done with the academy. I love this series.

now that i finished the book I’m honestly mixed. The book overall is actually amazing. I love that Rosabelle is actually starting to get comfortable with James and accept her feelings towards him. I dont get how people just push through pain all of the time. That ending actually sucked though. We already know Sebastian is Rosa‘s fiancé so what do you mean the cliffhanger is just saying “hi i’m her fiance”?

so close to finishing so I’m sad. rosa and James are so cute I cant. They are proper enemies to lovers. I don’t think that J will have the baby in this book, but shes full term so I bet the book ends with someone being told shes in labor. I screamed when I realized why the end papers are pink marshmallows. J texting Aaron about baby names is adorable. i call that the baby name is gonna be Lily Emmeline Warner

I MISSED THIS SERIES. James and Rosa are so frustrating because they obviously both want to be together but legitimately they cant. I love Aaron kenji nazeera and everyone but the way they are treating James is pissing me off. The plot twist with Kenji and nazeera actually shocked me. What do you mean hes been turning her down! I really want Juliette to have the baby this book and I need it to be born safely😭

it feels so weird finishing the series. im so grateful there’s a new book coming out but oh my gosh that ending broke me. To think that the whole ending of this book would be different if Cassie and Lorelei waited 10 more seconds. im happy Laurel is happy. im happy that Dean and the others moved to be near Cassie cause I would not be OK if Cassie and Dean weren’t together because they desperately need each other.

so why the heck did they have to kidnap Laurel again? I lowkey thought that child was possessed when she said she wanted to see Cassie‘s blood. Shane is kind of annoying to me, and I don’t know why, but I feel like Ree knows more than she’s letting on. also, does Cassie have dementia or something? like I get it was a long time ago, but girl forgot everything. lia is also being stupid that goes without a doubt

why hasn’t Laurel been mentioned? rlly glad that Dean understood y cassie went to talk to his dad. I know that Michael’s dad is the current UNSNUB in the eyes of the team but I doubt it’s him cuz of how suspicious they r. the mom of the missing girl is def who I’m keeping an eye on. I bet you this case ties back into nine but it pisses me off that even though Sterling thought it didn’t, she lied to everyone

genuinely confused on who the killer is because it’s always somebody you don’t expect. It’s prob that guy from the first book, but I feel like it’s weird that we’ve moved on from him so quickly. Somebody for the love of God, take the alcohol away from Michael, what do you mean he nearly escaped being murdered and he wants to go back to face the murderer. Judd seriously needs these kids on house arrest😭

lia is still pmo. but i love getting cassie and dean moments. idk why judd can’t tell that michael keeps drinking. someone needs to put sloane in therapy. and cassie just needs to have a sit down with briggs, sterling, and dean abt her moms case bc dean was allowed to be very involved in his dads case. rn i think the killer is prob mr shaw or the obnoxious security guy but im prob wrong bc its never who u think

lia is pissing me off. like wdym cassie can’t be upset abt her moms body being found? i get michael’s dad is terrible and that sloane is going through it but michael made the choice to go home for christmas and sloane could tell the others and get support. also cassie found out abt her mom before sloanes stiff so why should she have to be the one who needs to hold everyone together? so ya good so far but hate lia

Ok, I always love Lynn‘s books, but I’m a little disappointed by the lack of scenes that Alec and Dani actually have together. Especially with this being a dual POV. I’m not crazy far in yet so I know it will get better, but I’m just waiting for it to pick up. So grateful I got this the day it came out, and I really want to know what Alec is so mad at Dani for doing before she moved when she was younger😭

so I’m only 4 chapters in but like I already hate Sterling and she was in like three pages. what do you mean they can’t refer to themselves as their abilities now? they might be teenagers but that doesn’t change the fact that Dean and Cassie are profilers? I don’t get y briggs isnt here because shes talking like theyre shutting down the program. I hate her already. She’s giving me locke flashbacks.

chapter 100! ok so i like hate sirius, idc if remus forgave him. i LOVEEEE grant and hate that i only get him for like one chapter each year. im SOOOO happy sirius broke up with mary cuz they were so annoying. ik everything is gonna get so much darker since theyre in their 6th year… i think its safe to say a lot of crying will happen soon. i cant wait for james and lily to go out, but i dont want to watch them die
