Getting stabbed in the eye would be less painful than this

Ashamed of the way my ears perk up like a Pavlov’ed dog whenever Fitz the orcish barkeep is mentioned

The final boss of Fitz being an absolute fucking ASSHOLE exists in this book, I’ve never been so pissed off at him. Also, the Fool ate with that one ✊😔

The aptitude that Robin has for writing infuriatingly idiotic teenage boys is astounding

Reading a chapter full of dread and despair only to turn the page and see that the next chapter is called “sacrifice” …*gulp*

Fool: *saying the most romantic, beautiful, poetic monologues with a look of pure love and admiration on his face
Fitz: haha thanks bro, ur my best bud

CJDUXBVAG.GHDHSGAAHJL BB??? AAASHSVVVBHHHAHHHHHHH

Words cannot describe how excited I am to be starting this. It feels like forbidden fruit. I RAN to my bookshelf immediately after finishing Legendborn and YANKED IT DOWN. I’m shaking

I’ve put this off for TOO LONG I have to finish it rn

Thrilled to see that Robin’s love for gay moments is alive and well in this novella

Oh Amber oh Amber oh Amber :’))

I just fell to my fucking knees

Had to come crawling back to Hobb to break my reading slump
