A little cliché so far. I don’t understand why submissives are often portrayed as having no self-confidence. I’m kinda over that.
The sex is so rushed. They never seem to have foreplay. He collared her 2 days after meeting and told her to call him Master. They’re fast tracking their D/s relationship but I don’t understand why.

Ugh. Max is sooooo dumb.

I’m sure Barnett’s mom’s hatred and homophobia is supposed to be funny but she’s just unbearable. I absolutely hate her so far.

The story is fine but the narrator is boring as hell. She sounds like she’s reading Peter Rabbit for small children.
The sex scenes were so clinical. I need to read this rather than listen to it.

Celia?! Really? Again?! How dumb is Alayna? She deserves whatever mayhem Celia creates in her life. She can’t blame anyone but herself.
Ugh! This Celia/Alayna plot line is the worst. It makes an otherwise okay-ish book almost unbearable.

How can so much be taking place in such a short period of time? This is ridiculous. Soooooo many eye rolls.

I’m reading the ebook and I’m 45% in. I cannot count the number of times that I’ve rolled my eyes. Alayna is one of the weakest, most insecure women ever and she makes the dumbest mistakes ever.
I can’t wait for what I think is going to happen to happen so I can roll my eyes some more and pat myself on the back for guessing the very obvious climax.
