I’ve only read one chapter and I’m completely hooked. 🥲 Stephanie Perkins is my absolute favorite contemporary romance author. I’m thrilled to be reading an ARC of Overdue after years of hoping for a new romance release! I plan to savor every moment because I know I won’t want it to end. Thank you to Netgalley and Saturday Books for the review copy!

I love, love, love this book! It’s the exact YA story I’ve been craving for years. It has summer beach vibes, depth, romance, friendships, family issues, a bit of angst, humor, and lots of ice cream. Perfect for Sarah Dessen fans. I don’t want it to end. 🍦 🌊

Nostalgic American Girl books are my cure for reading slumps. 📚 I love revisiting the Felicity stories near the 4th of July. 🤩

In my fairytale theme park romance era. ✨ 👑 I’m already completely hooked on this one and I think more 2010’s YA books deserve a comeback. It was the best era for cute, escapist reads!

I feel so lucky to have an advanced Netgalley copy of this book to read and review because I think it’s going to be another 5 star Natalie Jenner. I can hardly put it down or guess what will happen next!

Honored to be selected for Megan Walker’s street team to read Highcliffe House early! Miss Newbury’s List was one of my very favorite books last year and I’m already thoroughly enjoying Highcliffe. The romantic chemistry is giving polite enemies to lovers vibes (think Matthew and Lady Mary from Downton Abbey) and I absolutely adore the hero’s precocious little sister, Tabs! 🌸 🤍

Taking my time with this one, but thoroughly enjoying it. I love the added depth, compared to the film, and chance to see more of Kate’s storyline. Nicholas Nickleby is only my third Dickens novel, but I’m in awe of his ability to take me through a wide range of emotions in the short span of a chapter or two. 💕

This book. 🥲 “…sometimes strength isn’t swords and steel and fire, as we are so often made to believe. Sometimes it’s found in quiet, gentle places. The way you hold someone’s hand as they grieve. The way you listen to others. The way you show up day after day, even when you are weary or afraid or simply uncertain.”

So far, this is one of the most unique and atmospheric books I’ve read. I’m already completely invested in Iris, Roman, and their mythical story world.

My reading progress has been so slow lately, but I love, love, love this book!

I’ve been too busy and tired to read much this month, but Cress took an action packed turn and I couldn’t put it down last night. 😍 The main characters remind me so much of Disney’s Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled. 🥹💜

Revisiting this one for Middle Grade March and it’s making me so nostalgic! I went through such a Baby-Sitters Club phase in elementary school. Makes me want to build a pillow and blanket fort to read them like I did when I was a kid. 🥲

Okay, this book is SO good. I love the sweet romantic chemistry between the two main characters and the whimsical, but realistic fairytale setting. The story manages to be equal parts relaxing/cozy and a total page turner.

When the world is stressful, so you keep reading American Girl books. So fun to revisit this one! I had a Felicity doll growing up, and always admired the character’s spunky independence!

Why yes, I think I will shamelessly read another version of Twilight. I kind of already love this gender swapped retelling. Reading this after a renowned classic like Great Expectations kind of describes my literary habits in a nutshell. Read what you enjoy. It doesn’t matter how high or low brow other people think it is.

This book is not only filled with lovely illustrations, but also a surprising amount of history from each fairytale’s time period, as well as the animation process. Loving it!

This is a long book with leisurely pacing, but I don’t dislike it for that or find it slow, despite my slow progress. I’ve definitely been surprised by a few twists and turns. I honestly don’t know which way the romance will go at this point! But I really enjoy Mary’s growth as a character. If the book were shorter it wouldn’t be as believable.
