Taking my time with this one, but thoroughly enjoying it. I love the added depth, compared to the film, and chance to see more of Kate’s storyline. Nicholas Nickleby is only my third Dickens novel, but I’m in awe of his ability to take me through a wide range of emotions in the short span of a chapter or two. 💕

Starting Victober early. 🍂🥰 I’ve been a fan of the 2002 film adaptation for years, so I’m extra excited to read this one because I already know I love the characters!

I’m honestly surprised how fast I’m flying through it! I usually take chunky classics at a snail’s pace. But I love this one so much, even though I already know the basic plot. I look forward to picking it up whenever I have a spare moment.
