i decided that i'm gonna finally finish it this summer, i'm so fucking back

that whole chapter being just a talk about old movies (and why cliff likes them) was absolutely brilliant, i need like twenty more of those

today's things that catched my eye:
- david and angelo recorded the score for blue velvet in prague
- "certain aspects of sex are troubling- the way it's used as power, or the way it takes the form of perversions that exploit other people." said david

the dog at the beginning of blue velvet was david and mary's dog sparky who loved to bite water

today's main things that caught my eye
1. david and peggy owned a blue velvet couch in their first house
2. david really liked goodwill
3. it's interesting to see how many things from david's life got put into his work
