This book is just heartbreaking and I am little more than half way through. How can we change the world to create a safe and peaceful existence for all of us. Listen to each other as humans.

Just beginning this read and I am so very impressed with Robin's philosophy. I saw her lecture at Williams College the other night. If I can manage, I will put the link on here for all to hear and see.

I read this a little bit at a time because it is beautiful and takes time to appreciate.

I will never be finished

It is not for the faint of heart. I need time and a dictionary to read this. lol

I requires a good brain and patience. It also requires a dictionary. lol

Vuong will tear your heart out. He takes no prisoners. You will not know it is happening until it happens and then you will fall apart. Be ready. It sneaks up on you.

The subject is horrific but the writing is well done. So far I have learned some fascinating but miserable things about this culture. I just wonder what people will do for money sometime, especially to young women. It boggles the mind.
