Interesting book about love, war and survival with a bit of love worked in.

I've enjoyed his other novels but these short stories, maybe it was a wrong time to read them, but I wasn't too impressed

The novel is mostly about Jessie Carson, a NYC librarian and an aspiring writer Wendy Peterson. Peterson is intent on learning what happened to Jessie way back in 1918. The book is mostly about Jessie with parts where Wendy slowly finds the information she needs to complete the story. I enjoyed it very much, espeially the end. Carson was a remarkable woman.

I really enjoyed this book about loss told in an unusual way in that the mother died and then the story was about how ther young children and husband coped with the death.

I really enjoyed this book but was confused at the end so I asked a question that answered it for me and this is the answer that makes sense.
"Helene Miss Prim finally has the same goal as the man she loves. She has been awaken in Italy. She can now go back to the village and tell him that she is ready to "go to Hawaii" with him. This book is such a fantastic Christian book."

A book worth reading for it's insightful look into President Oaks relationships with his two wives. It is heartbreaking his beloved first wife died as she was truly an equal partner to his successful life while raising a family. I enjoyed reading about her.
