Honestly, I wish Julia actually worked for the Thought Police so we could skip the unbearably dull romance, at least her snitching would spice things up.

I'll try to read at least a chapter a day. Winston gets sidetracked a lot in his thoughts, so I can't really get into it.

200 pages of politics, and not even particularly engaging politics, since I don’t really care about most of the characters involved.

It started with torture and then immediately delved into politics, so it was hard for me to get into it - too many names and places to remember. But then came Autumn Hunt, and I finally got hooked.

Beautiful artworks, mostly unused in the game—it's great to see the diverse ideas that went into their creation and the different directions the game's creators explored. There are also artist commentaries and descriptions, making the whole thing both beautiful and informative.
