So far so good. Love a dark story set during the plague…. Despite this being my first time reading a book that is set during the plague, I now know that I enjoy a dark story set during the plague. Shoulda been a no brainer. I digress.

Trucks is by far my favorite short story so far, but I’m really looking forward to Children of the Corn and Gray Matter.

It’s pretty good so far. I feel like it’s missing something, and I’m not sure if it’s the way the author is reading the book, or the story itself. Typically I like when the author reads their books, but not if there are a lot of characters and all of them are read in the exact same way with the same tone and inflection.
