Glad I decided to read this first before proceeding with my initial plan as I realise it’s probably not going to work well. I’ve learned some very useful techniques, really enjoying this so far

Humans are herd animals. We want to fit in, to bond with others, and to earn the respect and approval of our peers. Such inclinations are essential to our survival. Humans everywhere pursue power, prestige and status. We want to be acknowledged, recognised, and praised. This tendency can seem vain, but overall, it's a smart move.

Make the cues of good habits obvious in your environment

Don't be carried away into dystopia on a daily basis

Quantum mechanics — things on a very small scale behave like nothing that we have any direct experience about. It is very difficult to get used to and it appears peculiar and mysterious to everyone, both to the novice and to the experienced physicist, because atomic behaviour is so unlike ordinary experience.

Good photographs and informative although a lot of it is not new to me so skimmed a bit! I find this bit hilarious “Fill your teacups only two-thirds full; leave the remaining space to collect the feelings and emotions of those who have gathered to drink tea with you” hahaha! So pretentious! Anyway I’ll continue reading now 😂

Hilarious. WHAT EXCELLENT BOILED POTATOES 🥔 It's been many years since I had such an exemplary vegetable.

Many fish do not copulate but instead simply spew out their sex cells into the water. Fertilisation takes place in the open water, not inside the body of one of the partners.

Hahaha! 🐸 Mr. Toad is hilarious. Glad things worked out in the end. They are all fun characters with quite strong personalities and their friendship is to be admired. Very detailed description of nature which I terribly enjoyed reading about. Beautiful writing and the tone reminds me of Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit which happen to be some of my favourite books of all time.
